8 yr. ago I have the uncarved one. It took a month to get comfortable. I ride about 20 miles a day. I love the fit now, but the bloody thing creaks and I cannot figure out why. Also one of the pins broke off an I had to get it replaced. I can't say I'm 100% impressed with it overall. BBnet3000

Flat saddle people love Brooks. If you're coming off of a Fizik Arione or any other saddle that's pretty flat across the top a Brooks will be pretty damn great. The leather has just enough give that the saddle breaks in and takes the edge off. Flat saddle people tend to sit right over the centerline of the saddle for maximum hammock effect.
